Founder and Visionary CEO
Deri has been delivering strategic advice to scale up for over a decade serving over a £1 billion in scale up companies. Specializing in a number of industries including property. Deri has a real passion and skill in the property asset class advising some of the biggest names in the industry. This opportunity is his creation. Deri is leading and personally owning this scale up opportunity and Vision as it aligned with all his passions.
Paul Williams
General Manager
Paul joins us with over 20 years management experience in the hospitality and leisure industry and has a passion for all things food, beverage and creating an amazing guest experience. His experience in London spans from working at Buckingham Palace Garden Parties to Elstree Studios with Strictly Come Dancing to building one of the largest rum collections in London. Most recently in the ROSL in Mayfair as GM, so can handle and appreciate all generations. He has a proven track record of increasing year on year profitability whilst creating the highest standards
Nikki Owen
Project Manager & Head of Retreats
Nikki joins us with 15 years experience in the events and retreats industry. In her previous businesses she was involved from startup through to leading one of the UK’s biggest personal development businesses, training hundreds of coaches and running world class retreats around the world. She has a passion for running and attending retreats so really understands the needs of the industry. She is excited about creating the ultimate space for UK retreats.
Charlotte Cartwright
Charlotte is local to Raglan and Monmouthshire. She completed her Classics and Ancient History degree at Trinity St David and participated in various communications and marketing internships throughout her degree. She then went on to travel to Australia and Asia before progressing her career in marketing in the sports and luxury experience industry at the world-renowned Ascot Racecourse. She loved contributing to the creation of world-class experiences for customers that, in turn, created life-long memories and joy to their lives. Her career took her on to work in London and with the luxury Landrover restoration brand, Arkonik; as well as freelancing. Charlotte joins us since returning back to Raglan to be closer to her family and in her own words "I've travelled all over the world and there aren't many places that can match us here. The friendly people, the outstanding scenery and history. There's no better place to call home and I'm so excited about being able to share it with the world and be a part of developing an amazing and unique experience for our local community." You're likely to find Charlotte jogging around the local roads and paths (in her signature bright pink or blue trainers) or at home baking the most delicious goodies, or in the garden where she has recently started growing a mountain of vegetables and fruit - which she loves to share with her neighbours, friends and colleagues.
Amber Evans
Food & Beverage Assistant Manager
Amber is local to Cardiff. She completed her Education degree at Aberystwyth University then went on to travel Europe, America, Asia and Australia where she then began her career in hospitality. Her passion for the industry comes from growing up in the hospitality sector where her parents owned a restaurant and a pub. She loved the feeling of being part of the experience for other people, knowing that she can be integral to someone having a memorable and special experience by building relationships, offering a great service and being real. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, exploring new places and spending time with her family and friends.
Frankie King
Hospitality Assistant
After studying at Hartpury University, Frankie gained qualifications in Equine science and Equine nursing. She moved into hospitality for several years at Greenmeadow Golf Club which she thoroughly enjoyed and gained knowledge in the golfing aspect of the business. She is now looking forward to her future with Raglan Country Estate.
Andrew Lord
Grounds Manager
Andrew has extensive experience in all aspects of amenity horticulture and joins us with almost 20-year experience of greens keeping. He has qualifications in agriculture as well as amenity horticulture. His many years experience as Head Green Keeper have equipped him well for managing the team needed to create the grounds and greens experience, we desire throughout the estate. He was most recently managing a large estate and 18 hole golf course and is keen to develop our green infrastructure plans.
Matthias Ossyra
Financial Controller
"Matthias is our Financial Controller and has been with us since Raglan's inception. He has set up and runs his own businesses giving him an invaluable perspective of what a CEO looks for when scaling up. Prior to setting up his own consultancy business, Matthias was CFO for Soho Catering, SME Cashflow Partner and Numbers Nerds. Despite being a self-confessed man of numbers, Matthias is also a trained physiotherapist, musician, actor and screenwriter. Whilst mild-mannered you don’t want to cross swords with him. Matthias often can be found walking through town with his foil on his way to a fencing session. He competes across the UK and internationally.”
